I graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, which I paid for through a variety of academic scholarships. Upon graduating college, I began working in educational psychology. My career path has allowed me to work closely alongside students, helping them improve their study habits while giving them the tools needed to achieve academic success. In addition, I also helped mentor gifted and advanced students and worked with their families. I now work as an editor, where my job responsibilities include helping students with university admission papers as well as improving their skills in language arts and communications.I help tutor students in placement exams, helping them earn entry into higher education. I truly believe that each of my students has the capacity to succeed by achieving his or her academic goals. In addition to placement tests and entrance exams, I help students develop strong organizational and study skills, improve their essay writing skills, and better their reading comprehension. I also tutor English as a second language, art, and the social sciences.I currently live in Miami, Florida, and my favorite hobby is sailing. I spend the majority of my free time fixing and being at sea on my thirty-four foot boat. I also love music, dancing, and the visual arts.
