I served as a Mathematics Teaching Intern with Breakthrough Miami for two years, where I was responsible for creating and implementing daily lesson plans. I continued to tutor and teach during my undergraduate career as the founder of the PALS program and a volunteer with Connections After School Program in Hadley, MA. I was the 2011 Miami Herald Silver Knight Award Winner in mathematics and feel passionately about educating our youth.
